I will do everything in my power to have it running this week, with any luck the thing will go. I'll keep you all posted.
Joel from HRT will probably call me tomorrow with news on a flywheel. Aside from that, the motor is 100% assembled. I'll run the harness into the car and hookup the ecu while I'm waiting on the flywheel.

^^^what does that have to do with anything? Tim, I think i've got a KA flywheel at the house. It needs to be turned cause its a lil glazed and has some minor heat spots and cracks but, they can be resurfaced out. I'll call my brother a lil later n see if he can get it to you if we've still got it. DO it! that fuckin sucks somebody sent you the wrong shit! Is it ever gonna make it the road?

In the past few days I've put about 20 hours into the car, with some (IMO) excellent results. The motor is in the car mounted up, wired up, with all fluids flowing thru. Here's a quick pic for those lacking a vibrant imagination: Lo, the biggest news is that today, christmas eve ought-six, the motor turned over. Let me go ahead and tell you gentlemen that hearing the rb start for the first time rivals watching a baby's first steps. Though it ran for mere seconds, hearing all six cylinders pump and seeing the turbo spin was a breathtaking to say the least. I am very optimistic about the project in theses stages, despite the fact that there is a lot of work to be done before it is road-worthy. Basically, I have to hook up the driveshaft, fab up some intake pipes, bleed the clutch lines, and figure something out for the exhaust. As of now I think Im going to replace the stock manifold with a top-mount mani to gain more clearance with the fenderwell, and so I can squeeze a dump pipe between the motor and steering linkage. Once I have my intake set-up, I can properly have the MAF mounted, and maybe this thing will idle.... ...Stay tuned, maybe santa clause will be good to me and help get this project finished ahead of schedule.
