Actually the master power turbo is extremely well constucted. it is the turbo that RevHard uses in their turbo kits. It is NOT manufactured by any company even associated with SSAC. The adaptor is literally a hunk of metal, the welding was done, not by SSAC, but by the shop that you reccommended to him. and the wastegate? I don't know which one he has on there. try again david!

As long as anything SSAC was rewelded, esp the manifold youre probably straight. The turbo is definitly not the worst, you should be fine with that too, id get a different wastegate.
As much as I HATE ssac, ive heard suprisingly good things lately, they've gotten feedback from customers and started working on their shit, making it slightly better, i ASSume.

I itemized all of my expenses today (adding receipts, bank statements, etc) to try and find a total price for my swap so far. This is what I came up with
Total: $8,615.50
I was actually surprised to see this figure...means I'm well under budget!

nice stuff, i dunno how but let me know if i can help tony can help you pick anything up you need. so dont bother with an engine hoist, but if that doesnt work out then go ahead and have him run naked bc he does that great..... i was just readin back thru the entire discussion and i wanted to not only say that this is the greatest quote ever. but also who was there the night tony ran naked to the stop sign and back? lol

under budget as in, I thought I'd spent wayyy more. And cheaper than most other peoples RB swaps on Nico. Remember, that figure is for EVERYTHING including, but not limited to, the car, motorset, and every nut/bolt I've bought for that thing. I save every receipt because I'm anal.

stock ECU for now...I got lucky that the wastegate had a spring set for 8psi which is just a tad above stock boost.
