dave, you'll have to explain this chrome to me a bit more.... I kind of understand bikiRom and megasquirt. I think the hardest part would be finding a chipped RB ecu. Thanks.

well, I bought the trans. seperate and the motor came with an automatic tranny drive plate which is no good. Also I have to pull out the auto pilot bushing to put in a 5spd one. If anyone has any tips on how to get the SOB out let me know, I've already broke one tool from autozone, what a PITA!!

bearing puller, push it in, grab the ring, and use the sliding weight to pound it out slowly. used it on my car after we put this tranny and clutch in there

after about 5 hours of screwing with it and two broken rental tools, I finally got the pilot bearing out. Also today, my FLYWHEEL came in...I took one look at it and realized, "hey, thats not a flywheel!"...the seller sent me another DRIVEPLATE under the impression that it was a flywheel. So frustrating. Anyways, I did a little research and found out the KA flywheel will fit on an RB (so simple it hurts). Should be much easier to find a KA flywheel. Until then, the project is in a stalemate.

^^^what does that have to do with anything?
Tim, I think i've got a KA flywheel at the house. It needs to be turned cause its a lil glazed and has some minor heat spots and cracks but, they can be resurfaced out. I'll call my brother a lil later n see if he can get it to you if we've still got it.
