what do you mean you put a clamp in the way of the throttle? you mean your throttle pulley was hitting one of the clamps?

one of the clamps that was connecting the pipe to the manifold was in the way of the throttle. sooo when he got around 4,000 rpm, he was "dropping off" whereas it usually red lined in 1st. now it redlines, and it is all fixed.

REMCO out in roxboro. they do full custom exhaust work and its fairly cheap priced for good stuff. my catback and muffler was custom made for 180 for everything ie. pipes, bends, welds, and muffler. the guys there know what they are doing

Hahaha, horribly off topic, but when I went to remco I was talking to john? i believe about having my exhaust work done and I asked him if he could also do my intercooler piping. Unfortunately he couldn't because they can't mandrel bend piping, so I asked him whereabouts I could have something like that done......here's the funny part......his response was---->
John- "You should take it to carolina speed in durham, they do stuff like that." Me- "Carolina Speed eh? you think they could have that done for me?" John- "Awww shitchyeah, you know all them kids running around with trubo-blowers on their cars get there work done at carolina speed, infact I worked on a SU-BAH-REWW the other day from carolina speed.....shits fAAAAAsssssst." Me- "Yeah definately, I'll check them out....."
haha, apparently the club has a good reputation among the local shops for custom work....I wonder how many kids he sends to Carolina Speed to have work done.
