yeah that would be fine, contact rlz about getting a h22 base map on crack, but honestly i dont see you getting more than 10hp out of the conversion and tune, so i would say unless you are boosting its a complete waste of time. spend that money and hassle getting a set of type s cams and a intake manifold, tb, injectors.... then worry about tuning. its just not going to benifit as much as you think on a stock motor, and h/i/e is a stock motor.

Yea you make a good point, I hadn't really given much thought to how much it would cost in relation to how much power it would gain. I would do the mods that you mentioned except that I'm building the car for autoxing and in the sts class those mods are illegal. I'll probably instead get a rear sway bar and new stickier tires later on.

how will they kow you have bigger cams they are oem honda cams, the only way to tell is take them out and look at the groove markings on the cam seal ring that is covered by the cam gears and even then you have to know exactly what to look for. put some type s cams ad manifold on it. it is all oem any way. i dont know about the rules but im sure you can get around them, like high comp pistons, they cant tell if you have those h22 already does but its an example.
