Whats going on, my names Joe...Im Tims brother. I've been out to a meet or two, but am finally joining the club officially. I drive a 1998 Red Honda Prelude and I am most interested in Auto-X. Look forward to seeing you guys out at meets, and other such social events
Here's my current mod list: I/H/E 17" Rota Attacks on BFG GSport Tyres Koni Yellow Adj. Shocks H&R Race springs F/R Strut tower bars, lower tie bar
Future Plans: Replace ECU with chipped OBD1 so I can get a tune, my brother told me to talk to Tyler(Below85) for more info. Aside from that, replace the rear swaybar and I'll be content...for now....

whats up man. Glad to see you got on. That OBD swap thing is a lil on the for real illegal side. However, the only people that will ever know are the ones that inspect your car, so, you'd have to swap it back to OBD2 once a year...

yeah what david said....its gonna be a pain to revert your shit back to OBD2...are you trying to tune NA or turbo? if you were to turbo im sure that will be a good direction to go. (OBD1) Id say read up on it a little more and find the pros and cons to the ECU change and see if anybody else did and how they did the OBD2 inspection.

Inspection wouldn't be a problem, switching back to OBD2 would only require removing the OBD1 ecu and converter harness and plugging the OBD2 ecu back in.

WELL THEN!...the only problem with that being if you boosted.....stock ecu with big injectors...blah blah blah you got to return everything back to stock for the check engine to go out........then for an OBD2 car your gonna need to run the car 30+ miles to get rid of the "Not Ready" codes.

Yea I have no plans on boosting my car so I would be tuning NA. Like yall said the illegal part wouldn't be a problem until it needs to be inspected and the I'd just plug my stock ecu back in. I found a p72 chipped ecu and an OBD2a OBD1 converter so unless anybody has any objections, I'm probably going through with it.
