ok, so i was going down the road today and in the middle of a turn my engine downshifted, then started to slow down while still reving and then shot forward. now it makes this really nasty sound in the higher RPMs that i dont like. it sounds like somethings rattling around which doesnt sound good to me

i went to check out a little more of it. it sounds lik its coming from under the valve cover and somene else said it sounds like it could be the piston. idk, ill check into it later. i might pull the top off and see....idk. i have a small video of it i can send you. the picture sucks but you can hear what im talking about with the noise.

you have to check your oil extremely regularly in those motors. I have possessed 7 blown 4/7A series motors. everyone started with a spun bearing and eventually just let go. They are very particular about their oil level. if they get low, they tend to blow with any hard driving. also, 7a's do not like hard cornering and take offs either. Due to the fact that they were put in family sedans, they didnt have an oil slosh baffler in the pan when the 4aG's did because they were put into cars that were built to handle bassicly. keep an eye on the oil level or you'll have the same thing again shortly. i know- i blew up umm... 1-2-3-4 + A series my self. :-)
