hey- i've decided that my new *interior* project for 2005 is going to be a custom fiberglass install in the trunk.. two JL audio 8w7's in the back of the trunk with two JL 500/1 amps mounted under plexiglass in the front of the trunk (so there will still be space to put stuff-- carefully ) And, on the sides of the trunk there will be two stinger 1 farad capacitors, flush mounted with fiberglass... Anyone wanna help me out? haha I've done a good deal of reading up on fiberglass, and this is definitely going to be a project, but if anyone wants to help, please feel free to drop me a line! (total cost should be right around $1700)...

I'm going to hold off on the SR till the KA decides to stop working haha.. I'm going to be finishing the suspension mods (springs, shocks) and the 300zx front brakes, and rear strut bar this spring/summer too. I've got to get the subs/amps/capacitors/wiring before we start this though . What's another 100 or 125lbs gonna do-- I'll be able to drift just fine I'll just take out the entire exhaust system if I need to save weight

i had fun with a system back in the day. then i learned they were more hastle than fun when my shit started gettin broken into and more stuff started breaking. systems are a lot like a motor, once you get started building one, you cant stop. i figured i'd rather be fast than loud.

two w6 will hit much harder than two w7s on the same amp.they have a tighter and smoother feel unless you get an amp over 2000w.the rms is lower and they cost less.you can push it harder, and since its jl it will still be clean and tight.
