i had Bose speakers in the Volvo and a Pioneer deck, that worked out real well too. the Bose stuff came with the car when i bought it though, so iono how much it would really cost, but it sounded awesome.

I like pretty much anything except JVC. I've seen alot of cheap, plain JVC decks.

ive actually had a couple of jvc decks and theyve worked out great for me. yeah they dont have all the features everything else does, but they are pretty good decks.
as for the bose, that only comes from the factory, you cannot buy bose as aftermarket for your car

Both of my parents got JVC decks in their cars and I never really liked them. I've always liked the 2 Kenwood decks I've had in my car better.

How much did you pay for yours? Usually more expensive ones are better.

the first one was a hand-me-down from my sis, dont think she paid but like 150-180 for it, it was old skool, but decent
i bought my first one and it was like 220, basically just a newer model of the one my sis had
then i bought the first year of the aluminum face ones with the motorized fold out, mp3 player, and all that fancy stuff. retailed for like 350 and i think i paid like 250 on ebay for it, i LOVED that deck. the guy i sold it to loves it to.

My parents didn't pay that much for theirs. Maybe that's why I think JVC is cheap cuz my parents got the cheap ones. I think they each were around $150 a piece.

hell, i bought one of the $180 sony explodes for my celica, but i needed a damn amp for it b/c of all wattage, it would have sounded a lot better if i had one. i bought it when i was 15, and it's still one of the best cd players i've ever heard.

for the cheapest and pretty good quality get some visionik's. they're cheap but have a good sound and it doesnt take that many watts to power them. in the 7 i have two visionik 10s with dual voive coils rated at 600w each. i only paid i think round $96 for them on ebay. then i have a fosgate 600w amp and it sounds great!!!
