my mom owned a 65 mustang that my dad put a 350 in, she sold it when i was like 1-2 because she thought she needed a bigger family car. and before that my dad owned a 66 (i think thats right) but yeah he um....totaled it ending up upside down against a tree...and so ended the car craze for my dad
but yeah i think those were the last fords my parents touched lol
no not slow compared to a honda or toyota....maybe a mazda tho....

There's an older black man that comes into work who has a 65 Mach 1 (i think 65 if not 65 it around that year). Its red in mint condition, original paint, original interior, original motor, car is really sweet. He also has an 71 GTO and a 70 Olds 442, the 442 he bought wrecked and has completly restored everything but the paint. Man loves his muscle cars. His daily driver is a 05 Mustang GT.
