I've found over the years that ppl who say they'd take a Turbo II over a 3rd Gen usually can't afford a 3rd Gen! LOL, hey, lifes not fair....

oooo, tough talk, but back to the red RX-7, I've actually gotten to know the guy pretty well. He's way more level headed than my frst impression. I'll see if he's down for coming out to some meets, I'm sure he wouldnt mind yous guy's expertise on getting that heap to perform like it should.

LOL, hey, lifes not fair.... haha- i've also seen the people that bought that third gen, get real shitty when they get really run by the backyard turbo II they spent $15K less on..... hey- i guess life isnt fair after all.

lol, don't take it personally, I was just offering up MY experiences over the years! If I wanted to talk shit I'd say something like: Life isn't fair, that why they makes Civics.... LOL But really though, I like 2nd gens, I was going to buy a Turbo II at one point and then got hooked on MR2s. The whole deal about 3rd gens is this: It's not a piston driven car that you can beat on, not change the oil until 4k miles, turn off immediatly after driving them hard... etc. They take more maintainance than anyone driving a normal car can realize (oil changes every 1k miles, 93 octane or better, and aftermarket parts to keep them cool) and it pisses me off that ppl think it's the cars fault. I say it's the dumb American's fault for being ignorant.... hell, they Japanese guys can keep their 7's running why can't ppl here in the USA??? Oh yeah, I forgot, they don't tolerate ignorance.... You drop out of school there and you're better of killing yourself!!! Sorry to ramble, just needed to get that off my chest...
