yea i do have the them piso, dont know if they would help though just heard some pretty crazy stories of vw's havin them and then they fuckin fly up an smack the windshield....soooooo i dont really want that hoodpins on most CF hoods for VAG cars is a must. it depends on the design of the hood. for example, vorsteiner's E46 hoods have proven to be fine without them at even 150+ mph speeds. here is what happened to one of the fastest B5 S4 back in the day. the driver is very very lucky. before: after a test run: the cause: lucky driver: car fixed with a fiber images hood replacing the vortrag one: note the hoodpins even though fiberimages assures everyone that they are not required

yea, see, thats why im asking lol i thought i explained this via pm a while back. get them? yes. easy DIY? sure but i would rather have professional body shop do it. why? just 'cause it is worth the extra trouble and money.

i mean, you could always get them with black pins and black holders so it wouldnt stand out as much.
